When Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen meet on Dragonstone – a game-changing meeting wherein Dany bids him to bend the knee while Jon presents the game-changing news of White Walkers and an army of the dead – the King in the North implores to the Dragon Queen, “There’s no time for any of this.” It speaks to the larger reason why Season 7 pales in comparison to the show’s previous seasons. Season 7 boasts Avengers-level gatherings, where characters we never thought would meet wind up joining forces. Let’s Talk About ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5

“Unbowed. Unbent. Unbroken” – the words of House Martell. Keenly enough, the phrase is doubly symbolic. It’s the title of THE episode in Season 5 that stirred a lot of online fan fervor. We’re also introduced to the Sand Snakes this season – a widely derided plotline that left much to be desired. Lastly, Season 5 brought about the abrupt conclusion of Stannis’ campaign for the Iron Throne— and the fate of one character that still remains as the show at its most heedlessly cruel, even by Game of Thrones’ standards. Game of Thrones Season 5 Premiere


Game of Thrones has built quite a reputation for itself. Not only is it the most popular show on TV, it’s also the most expansive in terms of both storytelling and fan base. Which is why the leaked episodes and the overwhelming response that followed didn’t surprise me. Audiences clearly want to dive back into this cold hard world.
